Four artists connected to Mexico's Bajío region present works that stem from the same question: how does our way of seeing change when we inhabit a territory that also transforms us? Although their practices and backgrounds are different, they share an intuitive relationship with the landscape, understood not only as an environment but as an experience that is breathed, observed and remembered.
His pieces interact with the changing light of the highlands, with everyday gestures that leave their mark, and with the sensation of being in motion, even when everything seems still. Using languages that range from the material to the contemplative, his works reveal personal ways of constructing meaning: images that emerge from displacement, lines that capture the essential, fabrics that hold stories.
Together, these proposals outline a common territory where the intimate, the natural and the symbolic come together to open up new ways of perceiving the contemporary world.
