The exhibition brings together the work of five artists who present pieces inspired by a specific feature film. Each creator establishes a visual dialogue with a film, using various techniques. Adela Carranza, watercolour inspired by House of Flying Daggers (Zhang Yimou, 2017), Oliveira Tavares, oil painting based on «Arrival» (Denis Villeneuve, 2016), José Luis Hinchado, sculpture and installation with reference to Battleship Potemkin Potemkin (1925), Lorenzo Lumeras, captivating photograph inspired by "La grande bellezza" (2013) and José Macías: acrylic and oil with references to "En el ojo de la tormenta" (2014).
Taking advantage of the unique exhibition space of the room, the proposal seeks to create a sensory, visual and auditory immersion. The bed will serve as a screen for projecting a video and sequences from «El acorazado Potemkin»In addition, the bathroom will display photographs by Lorenzo Lumeras, and José Macías' work will be accompanied by a sound recording of a storm.
