The exhibition project presented by Galería Origen for Hybrid Art Fair 2026 seeks to show the structure and destructuring of reality through works that start from the purest figurative art and evolve towards other proposals that synthesise, decompose or distort places, people and objects.
The selection of artists for this fair largely reflects the gallery's curatorial strategy, which always brings together young emerging artists with established, award-winning mid-career artists, and which is committed to promoting both national talent (from urban and rural centres) and international talent.
"Structures and Destructures" will occupy a structured physical space, such as a hotel room, but will feature elements that break with that logical structure. The aim is to reflect on the human psyche's ability to compose or distort images according to its own mental structures.
