LaEcléctica presents the exhibition «Lo que se desplaza» at Hybrid Art Fair 2026, a show that brings together the work of three artists around the movements —visible and invisible— that define contemporary life, such as territorial, objectual and conceptual displacements.
Elisa Terroba contributes works that transform old atlases into vehicles that move between the playful and the critical. Her modified books, which incorporate skateboard wheelsremind us that maps represent both borders and territories of transit. Mario Marín addresses the displacement of objects and values. His painting is inspired by the digital second-hand trade, creating a parallel country where the useless acquires unexpected value. His work questions desire and the domestic migration of goods that circulate endlessly. For her part, María JL Hierro directs her gaze towards a sky where truth seems absent. Through canvases that function as mirages, the artist suggests that certainty does not reside in the heights, but in the intimate and in the everyday movements that take place at ground level.
The exhibition traces a path that links the geographical, the commercial and the existential, proposing a dialogue about what travels, what remains, what is exchanged and, ultimately, the questions that move with human beings.
