PAAM PROJECT presents «In a Child’s Dream» for Hybrid Art Fair 2026, an exhibition based on a shared certainty: the existence of a time when dreams were fearless. In that state, the imagination inhabited unknown languages and worlds where the impossible required no explanation. For the child, dreaming was an extension of living; an innocent surrender to what did not yet have a name.
This exhibition brings together the works of Anita de la Cuadra, Bolla Hiriart and Peach Face, three artists who have preserved that soft and luminous matter of childhood. Through their respective languages, the creators propose to the viewer the possibility of looking again as if it were the first time, regaining the ability to marvel at the environment. Far from being a nostalgic exercise, this project is presented as an urgent proposal. Recovering childhood sleep becomes an act of resistance to the rigidity and demands of the adult world. In a context that prioritises speed and productivity, the works gathered here invite the opposite: to delay, to imagine without purpose and to protect wonder, curiosity and tenderness.
