Sasha Falcke

Inspired by the 'super-dolls' that roam Puerta del Sol – such as Gorillas, Mario Bros and Mickey Mouse – Sasha Falcke creates a costume with a large head featuring the face of Marina Abramović. Walking around the Hybrid fair greeting and dancing for visitors, Falcke takes on the role of these street characters to launch a scathing critique: today, the artist's name and surname seem to matter more than the work itself. Her action highlights an art market that behaves like a child in front of their favourite character, eagerly chasing photos and autographs.

Desllegar (Música háptica nº 1)

It is a sound installation that proposes a listening experience set and corporeal on the hotel staircase. The work begins in the skin. Each section activates a tactile listening through the wooden handrail, while a second audible layer moves in space, disorienting any stable direction. Both layers articulate an exercise that involves the body and the ear and invites the visitor to build their own experience based on their movements. The ladder, usually conceived as a place of passage, is transformed into a delay device in which ascending and descending are no longer opposite actions but overlap physically and symbolically. To escape is to persist in the conflict, to sustain the transit until you inhabit it, to last.

Elástica Fanzine - Elástica Bookshop

Elástica is a bookshop located in CCCQS that brings together more than a thousand titles on social movements, feminism, criticism, art and pedagogy. As a living space, it organises workshops and community activities. At the fair, it presents Elástica Fanzine with a selection of documents on self-publishing and experimental creation, as well as other publications that discuss art and community from different perspectives. The CCCQS is an independent space that promotes art, critical thinking and cultural mediation, presenting experimental, collaborative and community-based proposals.

Taiwan in Focus: Hybrid Tour. The Tide of Taiwan: Bodily Sensations and Imagination in Geological Faults

An invitation to discover the creative energy of Taiwan, featured country in this edition of Hybrid Art Fair. Join us on a special tour of the space dedicated to its artists, where we will explore projects that engage with identity, experimentation and new narratives in contemporary Taiwanese art. A unique opportunity to get to know the creators, their processes and the stories behind each work first-hand.

Taiwan is located at the junction of tectonic plates where ocean currents converge. Earthquakes, typhoons, monsoons and tides form a recurring natural rhythm that is, at the same time, always unpredictable.

These unstable forces not only influence the landscape, but also profoundly affect bodily perception, lived experience and collective memory. This colloquium invites artists to share how, in such geographical and climatic conditions, bodily experiences, sensory memories and natural phenomena are transformed into a creative language. How does art respond to fracture, uncertainty and rebirth? The debate will focus on creative forms such as landscape, materiality, sound and movement. Through them, we propose to reflect on how an 'island' can become a force similar to the 'tide': not as a territory that passively endures change, but as an active agent in the generation of art.

«Lavatio» It is a queer ritual. An invitation to the process of constructing and maintaining dissident identity. Using wigs as the main element and symbol, washing, combing and drying them, Bambi aims to highlight the invisible structural work involved in living in society when one lives outside the norm.

The hotel's windows are transformed into a large urban aquarium visible from the street. The façade functions as a poetic device for contemplation and interaction with the urban space.
