Inspired by artists who work with liquid materials, each participant will face different creative challenges in which they will explore and be fascinated by the effects of light and colour created by these liquids of different densities, pH levels, fluidity, viscosity, etc. A workshop that prioritises observation, sensory enjoyment and interdisciplinary learning between art and science. Speed dates are a clear example of rapid consumption and personal brand optimisation (key factors in today's society), as they transfer the dynamics of the free market to our sexual and emotional experiences, commodifying identity. In this performance, each spectator chooses a performer for a five-minute date where the performer adopts an attitude of absolute complacency, nullifying their identity to become the "perfect product" tailored to the customer.

Through this exaggeratedly artificial conversation, the action seeks to generate distancing and rejection in the interlocutor. By identifying the artist's compulsive need to present a compatible profile, the viewer is confronted with the harsh commodification of identity and the loss of authenticity in contemporary encounters.

Desllegar (Música háptica nº 1)

It is a sound installation that proposes a listening experience set and corporeal on the hotel staircase. The work begins in the skin. Each section activates a tactile listening through the wooden handrail, while a second audible layer moves in space, disorienting any stable direction. Both layers articulate an exercise that involves the body and the ear and invites the visitor to build their own experience based on their movements. The ladder, usually conceived as a place of passage, is transformed into a delay device in which ascending and descending are no longer opposite actions but overlap physically and symbolically. To escape is to persist in the conflict, to sustain the transit until you inhabit it, to last.

Elástica Fanzine - Elástica Bookshop

Elástica is the bookshop located in CCCQS that brings together more than a thousand titles on social movements, feminism, criticism, art and pedagogy. As a living space, it organises workshops and community activities. At the fair, it presents Elástica Fanzine with a selection of documents on self-publishing and experimental creation, as well as other publications that discuss art and community from different perspectives.
The CCCQS is an independent space that promotes art, critical thinking and cultural mediation, presenting experimental, collaborative and community-based projects.

Hotel NPC

Lux Valladolid

Using the figure of the Non-Player Character (NPC) from video games as a conceptual tool, the artist adopts and sustains planking in a state of permanent waiting. Since activation never occurs, the character occupies unusual positions, such as staring at the floor or standing in front of a wall, sometimes only partially visible. It does not speak or possess its own agency: it is limited to stillness, reinforcing its condition of passive and programmed presence.

Performance as questioning: when does an object become rubbish, ruin? In relation to confetti, perhaps the moment it touches the ground. Or as soon as it is thrown. Was this mountain of confetti already a ruin when it was installed? Was it a landscape of waste or celebration? This performance proposes to ruin and spit on the work of art together. The audience will be invited to touch the piece, jump on it, walk through it, climb into it, or throw kilos and kilos of it at each other. What will remain: disaster—or perhaps it always had been—a literal end to the party. A collective experience of destruction as creation. Please do not notify room service.

El ecologismo de los pobres

"El ecologismo de los pobres" ("The Ecologism of the Poor"), is a deep exploration on subalternances from the thought of Antonio Gramsci. The research addresses historical migrations linked to water scarcity through a multidisciplinary approach that unites ecology and ceramics. Using the reconstruction and recycling of barrels and bottles, the work works as a metaphor for the human footprint and the vital importance of water. These pieces, arranged in columns or activated by performance, denounce the ecosocial crises and extractivism, placing artistic practice as a space of resistance and sustainable consciousness.

The hotel's windows are transformed into a large urban aquarium visible from the street. The façade functions as a poetic device for contemplation and interaction with the urban space.

Golem

“Golem” es una instalación participativa con elementos de performance, que articula un cruce entre el transhumanismo digital, lo teratológico y la cábala. La propuesta se pregunta por el sentido de las nuevas formas de existencia surgidas en el código. A través del escaneo 3D de los asistentes y su posterior mezcla, la propuesta genera un Golem simbiótico, un ente colectivo, monstruoso, que utiliza la palabra como instrucción para encarnar el viaje hacia la infinidad del otro.
